Dear Parishioners,
In our modern world today, the use of electronics is a common, everyday necessity, whether we like it or not. Most of us pay our bills on line or have automatic withdrawals made from our bank accounts. With this in mind, several parishioners have asked if the parish could provide a way for electronic payments to be made for their Sunday contributions.
In response to their request, I am pleased to announce that we now have the capability of offering our parishioners the ability to make their Sunday offerings electronically. Our system will automatically debit your checking or savings account and eliminate the need for writing checks. Parishioners who choose to sign up for this program will be able to select their contributions to be made either on a weekly or monthly basis.
All parishioners will continue to receive envelopes. This will allow everyone to give to the special second collections as well as to contribute to the Christmas and Easter collections. A space on the Sunday envelopes will also be provided for parishioners to indicate that electronic payments are being made.
An Authorization Form for direct payments is enclosed. Additional forms will be in the Narthex or can be obtained in the rectory. Please complete the forms and return them to the rectory to the attention of our Business Manager, Lizanne Kelly Vernacchio.
